  • Mountain Dew Soft Drink 
  • Green Food Colour
  • Wooden Stirring Spoon

Points to Remember when making  mountain dew ice cream recipe

  • The colder the steel cookware the best output of the ice cream can be made. Don't choose a cold glass bowl as it could melt fast as per the room temperature.
  • For a stronger flavor of the mountain dew, you can boil it for 10 to 15 minutes before adding in the cream mixture. Do this only if you have time during the ice cream making, else skip this.
  • You can add any food color of your choice. The goal is to maintain the taste of mountain dew all throughout.
  • No need for a stove or heating, it is just like cooking without fire! Only use ice cubes beneath the cookware and the cold steel cookware.

  • First, the very important step is to make stainless steel cookware and keep it in the freezer so that it remains all frozen cold throughout the dessert-making process. The cookware should never match the natural room temperature during the making of the ice cream.
  • After freezing the bowl, add many ice cubes beneath the cookware on a lid so that the steel utensil never starts to melt. Remember, if the cookware is cooler the better it is.
  • Now, pour the entire 1/2 kg heavy milk cream into the cold steel cookware and whisk the cream using a blender until the cream melts. (If you don't have a blender, keep on stirring the cream until it melts fully.)
  • Mix the melted cream well so that no heavy cream residue is left behind! After that add the entire container of the sweetened condensed milk of your favorite brand.
  •  Post adding the sweet condensed milk. Pour 1 cup of mountain dew into the whipped cream and stir well using a wooden stirring spoon. Remember to add the quantity of the mountain dew as per the consistency of the cream mixture!
  • Now comes the exciting and most awaited part of the ice cream! Add the green food coloring powder to the cream of about 2 spoons and mix it well (don't put heavy amounts of color, just a medium amount). Now, you will get the green color of the cream.
  • After that, pour the entire green ice cream mixture into a plastic container or a bowl of your choice and cover the top with the plastic cover so that it remains intact.
  • Close the plastic bowl or the container with an airtight lid and keep it in the freezer and keep it in the freezer for 4 to 6 hours or overnight whichever suits you the best.
