Yes chicken is been loved around the world in each and every corner, every country has its own method to prepare it according to there taste and preferences but when it comes to INDIA we have ample recipes for chicken in each state of INDIA. One of the popular lip-smacking recipe we call it a KADAI CHICKEN. It is very famous in all the North-Indian menus of restaurants in India.


KADAI CHICKEN is a customary dish that is made up of Fresh Whole Spices and known for its beyond-belief flavor. Do you ever think why we gave this dish name Kadai?? Well Kadai is nothing just a wok or gridiron there is no such story related behind its name, just a recipe made up of whole spices with a tomato puree/sauce. It is different from other Chicken Curry its gravy is thicker and more dryer & it perfectly taste best with Naan, Garlic naan or roti whatever you prefer.




 INGREDIENTS (SERVES-4)

 1. Chicken
500 Grams
2. Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
 3-4 TSP
3. Salt
 to taste
4. Turmeric powder
 1 TSP
5. Wiped Curd
 3- 4 TBSP
6. Ghee (clarified butter)
 3 big TBSP 
7. Bay leaf
 1
8. Big Cardamom
 1
9. Cinnamon
 1
10. Jeera Seeds  
 2 TSP 
11. Black Pepper Seeds
   4-5
12. Ginger &Garlic Paste
 3 TSP
13. Garam Masala
 2 TSP
14. Chicken Masala
2 TSP
15.  Coriander Leaves

16. Lemon

17. Green Chillies

STEPS 
  
Take a bowl and 500 grams of chicken , add Ginger & Garlic paste .
Add one spoon of red chilli powder , salt  mix it well (Marinate it for about 15 mins).
Heat a pan add 3 TBSP of Ghee( Clarified Butter) , add marinated chicken and cover it for 5 mins.
 Now in another small pan put all the Whole Spices bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon which I have already told you the measurements  of it cook it until it becomes red .
Now grind all the whole spices into a powder with the help of grinder.
Now add Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder and the grinded kadai powder into the  pan where marinated chicken is already cooking.
You can add finely cut ginger if you want it is completely optional.
Mix well all the spices continuously for about 5 mins.
Now add chicken masala into the pan
Now dd wiped curd TBSP and cover the lid after mixing for about 10 mins , you can see after 10 mins chicken is completely  is in the last stage .
Now if you want you can add red chilli powder(optional) if you are a spice lover!
Now you can garnish with fresh finely chopped coriander leaves , slice of lemons and green chillies and enjoy this scrumptious dish😊
